How do you know application received by information? Because I sent through USPS and I did not receive acknowledgement yet. Though I have setup return receipt thing.

Many of us use Fedex or UPS, and we confirm the delivery of our applications with their "tracking system" or "proof of delivery."

My application was received by Alberta Immigration office on May 12th 2009. Does anyone on the forum has any idea as to how much time it takes for me to receive a file number..??

According to Alberta Government, it is up to 4 months, so it will be about September (I hope... because the processing times may change)

Yes. the current time is 4 months which is sometime in September. We are all waiting for the file numbers to come
