Hello I moved to Canada six months ago on dependent visa. I have open working visa till July 2019. My wife is going to apply in AINP as she is working in Alberta. I am getting job opportunity in Ontario. Is it safe for me to work in other province as we are applying for AINP. What are the criteria for me to work outside Alberta before and after getting AINP.

Hey Guys,

I got a PR through Provincial Nomination and my visa is expiring on September 2018. I am in USA and will be entering via USA for landing and explore locations in canada for a week to settle. After that I will come back to USA and will move back permanently in 6 months or so winding up my US belongings which i do not want to take back to Canada.

Since the PR is through provincial nomination, Will it create problem for me to re-enter Canada again since i moved back to USA for some time before making a final move?

Hello,
I have applied for immigration through AINP program. I have received a mail stating that my application for provincial nomination has been approved and it is forwarded to cic for further processing. I will be notified by cic in 40 working days but still I didn’t get any update. The last mail I received was on 12th March 2018. How do I check my application status as it is paper based application. I have uci number as well as application number and also have some type of barcode number stating pnp number. Please guide me.

Good Day, please i need some advice as regards my application for permanent residence on the AINP.
I have since submitted my application for PR to the Sydney office since May 2017 and was received at their office. I have since then not received AOR or any correspondence from IRCC.
I have sent case specific enquiries twice, but still no replies. Kindly advice what to do next.
I look forward to your kind responses.

More then a year and you don't even have a file number. Are you sure if you gave right email and mailing address. Have you tried calling them?

I am also confused. Does anyone have an idea which Noc's are in demand in Alberta? considering the fact that Alberta will choose candidates directly from the pool.

hi , we are indian family, immigrated to brampton,Ontario on express last year, we both are medical healthcare professionals (so oil/energey/chemical sector will effect our job/profession prospect in Alberta), we are planning to permanently move to either Calgary (preferably ) or Edmonton, i have few questions to those who already settles in Alberta calgary or edmonton.
1. Are houses cheaper in calgary as compared to GTA area/Brampton/Mississisauga area, we found average medium house price in 550 k-800 k, while in Calgary heard about 450-500 k for medium size house, is that true ?
Renting an apartment cheaper in Calgary as compared to GTA area, as we found here in GTA aparment rent for 1 bedroom averages 1350-1400 $ and 2 bedroom averages 1500 $ . is that true ?
2. Howś winter in Calgary, we can manage low temp, and make up our mind.
3. Howś indian grocery prices , household items prices, and grocery , other item prices at other stores like Walmart, costco, freshco, no frills, canadian tire etc as compared to prices in brampton or mississauga ?
4. what about income taxes in alberta ? is that higher than Ontario ?
5. in which area in Calgary we should move first, we want to live in Indian community, near indian grocery stores, Gurdwara,
6. howś economy in calgary now ? as compared to ontario or bc,
any other positive feedback , prons about moving to calgary, please advise us, thanks.

Hi I am in the same boat as you are,

Got my medical Request may 9,
Got pre arrival letter July 06

My applications say
They don’t need additional documents
No biometrics needed
Medical passed
Still checking criminal background

No changes since July!

I thought they would send me passport request beginning of September but not yet!

Please let me know if you get your passport request

Cheers,

For AINP, is it necessary to have job offer or there is other way to apply for AINP without job offer.

Also let me know some good sites and registered agents for job hunting.
