2 - 8 weeks.. Oh boy :(

No criminals for sure, regarding to medicals, they said that if doctor haven't contacted the patient, it is because everything should be fine. So, I believe that I'm ok.
So yeah, DM is in your favour no need to worry about anything just expect your COPR in the mail in about month or so.

what happens after DM...... if a decision has been made why not let us know the outcome right away through ecas?? at least that way waiting for PPR or COPR doesnt become such a pain.
Is there a purpose to this??

any thoughts??

cheers and let's keep optimistic.

Yeah I agree with you. there should be another line added on Ecas if it's approved or not just to give some relief to the applicant.

Nope.

When we sent application we sent 6 photos, police checks from our countries (Uk and Aus) and copies of both passports (Aus and UK) Nothing from RCMP, should we expect that?

Thanks you and congratulations for DM status.

2-3 weeks? How come so long? I dont need a Passport Request, surely a letter doesn't take that long to get to Edmonton? I know Canada post suck, but really?

Your COPR should be in the post now and you should receive it in 4 to 5 business days.

Exactly
It seems like a very odd way of doing this to add a "decision made" status.

anyways, nothing we can do about it.

cheers

Letters national: 4 business days

You're assuming they print and send it the same day we get DM. Based on other's posts, this is nowhere near true for most. And a letter will take a week (calendar) to arrive.

2-8 weeks as per CIC response to one of the forum member.
