For sure, may be by Friday it gets activated but you never know CIC. Sometimes they are superfast sometimes like a snail. But I will be updating you guys as soon as I can.Donalddraper said:no i think they wont send our new PPRs until they finish the current ones, so let us know when your passport return is activated, that might help us to know when our PPR is coming.
Thank you very much akapoor!akapoor said:For sure, may be by Friday it gets activated but you never know CIC. Sometimes they are superfast sometimes like a snail. But I will be updating you guys as soon as I can.

You are waiting for ppr, i would say wait till the ppr comes and then send you passport and they will take 2-3 weeks to return your passport, it won't take more then two months. After that you can marry and then she can apply for PR.mason54321 said:Congrats!!!
I am new to this Forum.
My timeline is:
AINP certificate in Sept 2013 under Employer Drive
CIC received: Oct 31st,
Med exam: Jan 2014,
IP: April 16
DM: June 01st
PPR: waiting
My question is: I am going to marry soon!!! what's the best way to help my wife (GF at this time) apply for PR?
Option 1: get married soon, and send her material out asap. (should I apply for a certificate/norm. from AINP? and then send application to CIC?)
Option 2: apply for PR under the Sponsorship category.
Sisters and Brothers, your thoughts? your experience?
many thanks!
