I have a sister who's a PR and is based in Alberta, but I haven't received NOI yet.
My NOC is 4161 which I think is not an in demand profession in Alberta.
I also wonder if there were people who have received NOI for the sole reason of having a family/relative in Alberta.

What's your CRS score and when did you entered Express Entry. Also I have seen someone at score 319 who received NOC and had a brother in Alberta

When did you entered Express Entry Pool also I have seen a person whose CRS was 319 and NOC was related to mathematics and statistics he got an NOI from Alberta. Alot of people get so don't worry. Also it's an criteria clearly states people with work, study and relative are preferred. Also snip gives 20 point for relative which almost assure a place in their draw so they literally mean it. What's your CRS score

EE Profile Created: December 16, 2018
CRS Score: 356
NOC: 4161

Yes, I’ve stated having a sister in Canada in my EE profile, hence I was able to get additional 15 points. I selected both “all provinces” and “Alberta” when I created my EE profile.

My IELTS is expiring soon, which is an opportunity for me to improve my CRS score.
