AINP-H1b category-CIC application sent and Medicals request received

Hello everyone,
I have received request for Medicals test on 11th June'2011 under AINP-H1b visa category with application file date on Nov/Dec-2010 to Buffalo.
Is it normal for CIC to ignore security/police checks before sending Medical request?

It is normal to receive medicals along with the first AOR(Acknowledgement of Receipt). The CIC will initiate security clearance procedure at a later point, probably after your medical reports are clear.

do you know the exact date when your file reached buffalo. as mine reached on 10 of dec and i got nothing. bit worried.
