I want to submit an AINP H1B application. Besides AINP 009A, should I also send IMM0008 Generic,IMM 0008 Schedule 1,IMM 5406, IMM 0008 Schedule 4 to both CIC and edmonton?
Or send forms other than AINP 009A after my nomination is approved?
From the helpful hints for submitting an AINP application,it includes all of the above mentioned forms. But from FAQ of strategic recruitment stream-US visa holder category, it says waiting until nomination issued.

There's nothing you need to submit to CIC at this point. The forms you need to send to AINP (along with supporting documents) are the following:

AINP forms (must be ORIGINALS, not copies)
- AINP 009A: SRS - U.S. Visa Holder Category Application for Provincial Nomination
- AINP 008B: Candidate - Use of a Representative (if applicable)
- Helpful Hints (Checklist)
CIC forms (only PHOTOCOPIES, not originals)
- IMM 0008 Generic: Application for Permanent Residence in Canada
- IMM 0008 Schedule 1: Background/Declaration
- IMM 5406 Additional Family Information
- IMM 5476 Use of a Representative (if applicable)
- IMM 0008 Schedule 4: Economic Classes: Provincial Nominees

*The forms/documents you need to submit to AINP are listed on the first 2 pages of AINP 009A form.

Once you are nominated by AINP, you can submit your permanent residence application (along with your nomination certificate issed by AINP) to CIC. Then if you meet the federal statutory requirements (including health, criminality and security checks), you'll receive your Canadian permanent resident visa.

NO, you do not. Actually my understanding is the only time you MIGHT need to submit any proof of funds is when you do your landing formalities at a Canadian port of entry after you get approved for permanent residence. Good Luck.
PS: There is a lot of useful information on the AINP SRS H1B forum from senior members who've gone through the process.

You are welcome, and Yes, I got nominated under AINP and just mailed my application to CIC-Buffalo on 6/15/2010. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Hey Hoogirl,
I have also been nominated by AINP. I still have to apply for CIC, but my status is changing from H1 to F1. I was wondering if that could effect my application to CIC in any manner.
Thanks for your help.
SS.

It shouldn't affect your application at all. One's H1 status in this case is only important during the nomination process, so go on and apply to CIC.
