Thanks be to GOD. Yesterday I picked up the PRVs yesterday at the Accra VO. Finally the Journey of 6 years has come to a climax. I am so grateful to GOD and all the wonderful people on this thread for all the encouragement and support. The world indeed can be a better place. I have never met Jaggu, USMA, Khan78, Supa,Ibrahim A etc before but we have divorced ourselves from our difference and aligned on our common goals and humanity. Guys I am so grateful to everyone on this thread.
Indeed, one after the other, we shall all get the PRV. Beyond the PRV there is more networking to do when we land in Alberta.

Let the PRVs begin to rain down.

I think DHL doesnt handle passport internationally, however you can cofirm from local services of DHL in your area. Normally this type of handling is carried out by hand through some travelling friend. however get opinion from some expert.

True... last option is dhl.. else through friend...

Thanks God , you are in contact with this forum, best wishes for your MR.

Thanks a lot for the best wishes. This is just the beginning, we will all get the PR visa soon.

Jaggu, I had the DHL option stated in the PPR but I thought that it was too big a risk to take, plus when I sent my RPRF to Accra VO I couldn't track it online.i didn't want to take the risk again. Just weigh your options carefully.

Don't fret folks, the PRV will soon be here.

Hi Everyone,

I am new here and is one of the pre 2008 backlog applicants wherein I filed my application for permanent residency since September 2005. Now CIC is going to refund us our application fees, but before anything else, I am so blessed to receive a job offer for a management position in Alberta, Canada. I am now processing my papers for work visa.

My question is, how long should I work in Canada in order to be eligible for application to the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program. I suppose a management position is qualified for the said program. Also, may I ask if IELTS is still required if I apply for permanent residency with CIC under the AINP.

Please guide me on the above. Your reply and help will be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

Dear Ofonzo,
Many Congrats on your PR. Probably your application is one of the fastest processed in this thread.
I am regularly watching this forum. I am still waiting for my second AOR from NDVO. I had been expecting based on Jaggu's Timeline.
Unfortunately till date i haven't heard anything . It is over 75 days since i got my first AOR from CIO.

Any way nothing much to say. Once gain congrats and best of luck to Usma.Jaggu and others.

Thanks
with Regards

All,

Any update on your application?

Jaggu, Has your VO issued your PR Visa yet?

Praying that this process is completed for each and everyone of us.
