USMA, I concur with Jaggu. It should be the end of September before we get any feedback from CIO.in the meantime I have taken the liberty of looking at the Operational manuals on the CIC website for any instruction on handling FSW backlog reduction cases.unfortunatlely there isn't any special instruction so I believe we will be treated like any other pnp applicant.

Ofonzo & Jaggu , Definitely you are realistic, however i come to know from some forums that people got ALberta Nomination in 2 to 3 years as compared to our only 2 months. This fact is making me optimistic that being a backlog member we will be given a special protocol in this pilot. If you remember very initial invitation letter for this pilot, it was said that if we join this stream our applications will be processesd on a fast pace.
Any how good luck to all.

I will Inshallah get passports of my Dependants by tomorrow, request friends to pray for me to get nomination instead of getting another query or rejection. will as far as the processing time is concerned somewhere on the site of AINP for fsw backlog i read that for processing time applicants should see the time line of respective visa offices on CIC site. From CIC site as i know for applicants from pakistan the processing is done by London office and there average time is 21 months as up to August 2012.

Khan- wish that I will get nomination soon.

You r absolutely right on processing time, as I hope that our timelines matches each other but if it doesn't than this is the sole reason. Ours is 10 months and might b different for ofonzo. Let's c.

Khan, I pray to Allah that you get nomination soon.
Also CHC London website shows that provincial nominee average time is 6 months. The text copy is as follows:
Average Processing Times
Processing times begin on the day our office receives a complete application and end on the day the final decision (i.e. approval/refusal) leaves our office.

Permanent Residence:
Skilled Worker applications received before February 27, 2008: 42 - 48 months
Skilled Worker applications received after February 27, 2008: Because these applications are affected by new regulations, an average processing time is currently not available. Do not contact us for case status enquiries within 9-12 months of submitting your application
Entrepreneurs and Self-employed persons: 42-48 months
Investors: 12-18 months
Family Class: 6 months
Provincial Nominee, Quebec, Skilled Workers with Arranged Employment: 6 monthsRefugees: Up to 18 months

JAGGU is right about the different timelines. Accra where my application will be processed has a 17 month average for PR processing. But I will expect that our AOR will be initiated about the same time if there are no returns.

Hi Fellows,

I'm a new addition, originally applied in Feb 2007 and after a long journey like most of us here finally, recently got my nomination approval under AINP.
Seems a big work is still ahead to make all submissions with in 6 months period from the date when nomination is approved.

I'm a bit unclear when I look at all the list of submissions as there are many repetitions.

For AINP review, it was asked to submit notarized copy of all certificates, reference letters and applications etc. and now looking at the list, it seems this all has to be done all again?

I'd be grateful if anyone can clarify.
best wishes...

Rana, congratulations on your nomination and welcome to the forum.
Yes the documents are the same requested during the ainp application phase. But remember that only translated (non-English) documents need to he notarized (and translated). Go through the application guide on the cic website for any clarifications and we will be only too glad to help also.Send me your timeline and profession to update the tracking sheet.

Dear Ofonze
Thanks for your reply and kind message.

I quickly reviewed what I submitted earlier at the application phase and what has been asked now as per the check list.
Seems the following applications must be RE-SUBMITTED:
1) Generic Application -IMM 0008
2) Schedule A: Background (IMM 5669E)
3) Additional Dependent (IMM 0008DEP)
4) Schedule 4: Economic Class (IMM 0008_4E)

But as I remember, in case of Generic Application -IMM 0008, it was asked to submit a copy while the original would be asked later.
So now, is this the same original to be submitted or a fresh one?

Also Passport, IELTS, Civil Doc., Children info. etc. have been asked to submit in COPY............no need to be NOTARIZED?
As per the CIC guide "http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EP7TOC.asp" for PNP category, the copy must be "Certified true copies"

Kindly clarify!
Thanks.

Rana,

I submitted a fresh copy of the Generic Application IMM-0008. As long as your documents are in English there is no need to notarize them. hope this helps?

Thanks Ofzone, it helps!

As I remember, total 3 applications i.e. IMM 0008 Generic, Schedule A and Schedule 4 were submitted as a copy.

So what did you do in case of Schedule A and Schedule 4? Submitted new as you did for IMM 0008?

Ofonzo..thnx!

On my nomination paper, mentioned that my case may be processed at CIC which differs from my country of residence.

And when I checked with CIO, I was told that although it's at the discretion of CIO to select CIC, PNP cases may get handled at ones country of birth/citizenship and not necessarily at country of residence.

Is it right? ...any clue?
thnx!
