Hi guys,

I received my AINP nomination last year and applied for PR.

The AINP Nomination was under the Strategic Recruitment Stream - Post Graduate Worker Category (Registered Nurse)

I want to switch jobs in the near future, and the job I'm switching to may not necessarily be a full time job.

With my type of nomination, is it okay to switch jobs? And is it okay if the job is a part time job?

Everything I read seems to tell me I can, just have to update the Government. But I wanted to ask the community to make sure.

Thank you.

Thought I'd also mention, although everything I read made it sound fine, I was concerned about the part time part, not sure if that will affect the PR application.

Hello,

I was applying through Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program with Post Graduate Work Permit.
I just checked, on letter it says RESTRICTION ON EMPLOYMENT - YES. It makes sense, when you apply they sorta lock you with NOC of your job. In addition on my nominee letter it says name of employer, my position.
I might be wrong but i would not change job, because you will need to tell your nominee government.

Also it says something like this "The SINP reserves the right
to withdraw its certificate if we determine that an applicant no longer meets the conditions
under which she/he was nominated." - U do not want this

I hope that helps, if yes mark as good

Anton

I believe SINP is different.

In Alberta, they have a Strategic Recruitment Stream for Post Graduate Workers, which SPECIFICALLY allows post graduate workers to apply to the nominee program, WITHOUT it being Employer Driven.
