My application is received on August 2013 by CIC and in process since Jan 27th 2014 and still no decision made.

i am worried what to do..........

I guess there are some of us in the same situation. Application received October 28, 2013. IP since April 3, 2014.
 
no i did'nt and they did'nt ask from me too. i guess may be that is the reason for delay..........no idea whats goin on......

we have similar timeline, we are BC pnp. Received Aug 18, 2013.

What should I even say though? What can they do?

Would they be willing to help, even though processing time is 17 months? I know it's usually way faster than that but it hasn't even been 12 months for me.
 
One of my friend told me that who applied in July, Aug and September their files are being processed at Ottawa and later ones in Nova Scotia................ don't know the truth behind this fact..... he said Ottawa takes more time for processing............................

My application was received in October 28, 2013, so it doesn't make much sense.
