Felix,
I would say every one will be delayed! They just can not keep the timeline they have set.
Before it is about 3 month, and now five month, and later more than 6 months.

They have too many cases and can not handle those. This is the case.

I wont suggest that anybody anticipate to get the monination in less than five months. Try to plan for 6-7 months, and another 8 to 12 months for CIC.

Do not rely on this PR for your future, work hard to find alternative ways.

Please call them and force them to get your credit card number and charge 100$ each application as application processing fees. Within a month new, old all kinds of application will be finished. Money matters.

governor,
I am not that rich.
I would rather suggest we each pay 100$ for the application fee.
It is a reasonable fee for expediated process.
I hope they can change the policy and charge a fee for the application, but please make the decision in less than three months.
best wishes to all

May be some day when he will really be the governor of Alberta, he might levy the $100 fees. You are funny man, keeping everyone entertained while they wait in frustration for their nomination.

yep,

I sent it Feb 6th and was delivered Feb 9th. Technically, on Thursday it will be 2 full months

Mine too was delivered on Feb 9th ! And I got the file number on 19th March. But dude dont worry, there were some folks out here on this forum who never got the file number but then found the nomination in their mail box.

Also think of this, they provide the file numbers by email. Either of this could happen, you had a typo on your email when you wrote it on the AINP application. OR the person there might have had a typo while entering it in the system, and that might cause the email to bounce. So you never know, you might end up getting the certificate. I hope that is truly the case with your application.

Exactly and Divagirl also spoke to Program Director and Director said "Everything is in order and folks may also get Nomination without file number."

I have a question, i recently received a file number on March 19 under the old process.
The invitation to apply package was sent to my previous address, and forwarded to my new location by USPS since i moved.
Should i email/inform alberta about my new address? or would that be updated and certificate will be sent to the new address since the new address is listed on the application Alberta received from me.
please advise.
thank you

As you sent the application with the new address, and hope you mentioned it as a current address, I guess they should send it to the new address.

I assume you have notified USPS to route your old address email to the new address. That service is good for 1 year.

i thought it is good only for 6 months.
