Does any one know if they have removed IT consultants from the list for FSW program ???

From what I read sometime ago, they only consider IT Managers in FSW and not Programmers/Developers/Consultants.

Yes that is what even I know now..is there any other program for devlepers/consultants for immigrations apart from alberta?

engg,
have you got any luck on file number? I heard that IT may be removed of some professionals.
Anyway, I think you do not need to care about it, because you submitted yours a long time ago.
best

If the Candidate is approved as a Provincial Nominee and they find employment in their field in Alberta, the AINP may be able to issue a letter of support that would help the Candidate start working in Alberta right away, prior to their application for permanent residence with CIC being finalised.

hello
they wont give you any information regarding your application on the phone.
better if you give it more time
good luck

What date did you send the application? Do you know the date it was delivered ?

yep,

I sent it Feb 6th and was delivered Feb 9th. Technically, on Thursday it will be 2 full months

Re: AINP -APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AT ALBERTA OFFICE AFTER JAN 15***(OLD PROCESS)**

There are people who applied in January and waiting for the file numbers.
According to divagirl's post from the below thread "If everything is in order, you may not get your file number and would receive the nomination letter directly and not to panic as it is not yet 5 months since the date you applied"

"The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) has updated some of its forms"

Check below link which was updated on March 30, 2009

yes, I am under the old pre-assessment process. Engg, and 2 or 3 other members are still waiting for file number under the old process. I have decided to wait till end of April to inquire. Who knows, they may have made it their priority to process my nomination cert and not bother with the file #. :) :)
Wishful thinking, I know...... :) :) :) but couldn't resist.....

you may be right. there has been at least 1 instance where the applicant got their nomination, and never got any file number.
anyway, it seems like they send file numbers and nominations in spurts. the next burst will probably get nominations for y'all.

Felix,
I would say every one will be delayed! They just can not keep the timeline they have set.
Before it is about 3 month, and now five month, and later more than 6 months.

They have too many cases and can not handle those. This is the case.

I wont suggest that anybody anticipate to get the monination in less than five months. Try to plan for 6-7 months, and another 8 to 12 months for CIC.

Do not rely on this PR for your future, work hard to find alternative ways.
