Lets see!
dec 3, 2008 - e-mailed pre-assessmt docs
dec 4, 2008 - confirmation e-mail
jan 25, 2008 - recvd invitation to apply for AINP
feb 9, 2009 - application received at AINP
aug 7, 2009 - got generic e-mail that application is received and will be processed ...one day...
nov 20, 2009 - got e-mail from AINP with file number and that they are processing my application
(they requested for most recent paystub and H1B approval, and asked if I have
any updates to report - address, family size, etc..; gave me till close business day
nov 23 to respond)
nov 23, 2009 - e-mailed requested docs and paystubs for last 6 month (updated info that I am
now working for H1B employer overseas and being paid at their office in Europe,
and that I am waiting to get H1B visa stamp at US Embassy overseas.
I also explained it would make more
sense for me to do CIC step overseas (instead at Buffalo).
Will see what happens next! I honestly wasn't expecting anything ...thought application would never be processed..
Other guys were getting file numbers 5-6 months ago...so AINP must have been knee deep in applications..

believe it or not, I received an e-mail from AINP with the file # and that my application is now being processed. They asked for more information / docs. I responded with my updates today and will see how it goes.
I got the same email and requested paystub and I797 copy. I am also in same situation as my employer transferred me to India from US aftre I submitted my AINP application.
When I questioned AINP, I got a reply that one of the program Requirements is to have valid h1 status' despite that I was in old process.
Looks like now they are not honoring the old process applicants who are out of h1 status. I tried to contact their help line phone, it did not go thru..
