If your application date is after Feb 19, you must maintain H1-B status until nomination.UStoCanada said:I filed my AINP application on Feb 26 2009
Received file number on March 23 2009.
received email from Program Office on Nov 25 2009 asking 1) Recent pay-stub 2) H1b approval notice 3) Changes to employement 4) address changes.
I replied them with all deatils but still waiting for update on this .
After applying AINP, I moved back to India.Even while I received email from Program Office at that time also I am in India.
Now I am in confusion that Shall I get the nomination for AINP or not ?
Thank you for sharing your timeline, rsamra.rsamra said:Hi All,
Just wanted to post my information, it is my first time on this forum
File # - 79XX
NOC Code - 2171 and/or 2173 (Not sure)
Application Package Sent Date - April 9, 2009
Application Package received Date - April 14, 2009
File# receipt date - July 3, 2009.
Could anyone tell me if their application from mid-April or greater has been processed for NOC codes with an IT background? I am currently under no time pressure but I still decided to speak with my lawyer for an update on the situation, i was told the with the new year they will start to process applications that were in a backlog from April onwards.
Good luck to all.
Thanks for your reply Jasper, here is last 4 digits of my file number(last number X'd out) 377X. Thank you for the time and patience you put into compiling the list, it is of great help to all of us.Jasper said:Thank you for sharing your timeline, rsamra.
I believe the file number you posted was the first 4 digits. But we are sharing the last 4 digits of our file number (the first 4-6 digits are the same for all applicants). So, do you mind sharing the last 4 digits of your file number?
And here's our timeline spreadsheet:
If you click "AINP time line tracker," then you will see the forum member's timelines. Now AINP seem to be processing mainly Jan/Feb/Mar applicants (non-IT applicants seem to be processed faster), but this list might give you a better idea in the application/nomination situation of forum members. Vsrao and I normally update this spreadsheet once a day, so your timeline will also be on this in a day or two.
