My ecas status says complete.. and I am now waiting for my PR card...may be by January end

Thanks Harpreet for your well wishes and yes it has been a long wait and in January it will complete full one year since i applied for PR.
I wish that we all January applicants get passport requests before Christmas so that we can spend our Christmas vacations very happily

Hey guys, FYI, I am posting my status:

-We received your application for permanent residence on March 10, 2014.

-We started processing your application on September 10, 2014.

-Medical results have been received.

According to above, processing has been longer than 3 months. I don't know if my status is lagging behind or normal... :'(

Will express entry effect PNP applicants who applied between Jan 2014 till Dec 2014?
I am worried that cic will return our fee and ask us to apply under Express entry. maybe this is the reason they have not issued any ppr's since November.

Pls share what do you think about this.

Bhim bro if this is the case why applications are still being accepted under pnp? I guess we just have to wait. A lot of my life's major decisions have been delayed due to this wait, but I guess its important remain optimistic, we all soon will get pprs

The past applications submitted before launch of express entry will be processed according to old rules. You can check CIC website to make you feel better.
You can search Notice - express entry questions and answers on CIC website.

Speaking of mortgage, that is so true, I was approved by a mortgage provider already but still he needs the PR status to push through purchasing a house. It just sucks to wait when you found a house of your choice already and you can't have it because of this wait.

I applied in March . Did medical and paid RPR fee in early May. I've heard nothing since.

I got our passports back from Ottawa with COPR this morning.A perfect Christmas gift for me and my family.

Just want to say thanks for all the guys who have been a part of this thread.This has been for sure one of the thread that I have been watching out most of the times being a part of January batch.
For this who are still waiting, as long as you know that you have complied with all the requirements and eligible for the application, It might just be a delay.I understand the agony of waiting as I am on App received for 10 months and skipped to PPR.I hope you guys will have the same too.

We'll be doing our landing next year probably after the holidays

How long did it take you to renew your passports?
My kids' passport will expire on July.
