hey guys i'm new here
My timeline
AR - jan6
IP - 28 aug
PPR - 1 nov
Got passport back on 19 nov in the morning with confirmation of permanent residence.
But late afternoon my lawyer got a email says your landing interview has been scheduled nearby office.
Does anyone else got this experience and anyone knows what they gonna ask there.
Thanx
harpreet470 let me know about your situation.
I have received the same letter as well. They've scheduled a Final Determination Interview (The email topic was Landing Interview) for next week.
I was thinking it is because my application took too much and they want to check my current status (Job, Spouse, . . .)
It's not a big deal. At least I have an appointment for next week and I don't need to drive 4 hours for landing at the boarder.
I promise you, there is nothing to worry.
I will bring them the below additional documents and I suggest you to do the same:
- Our bank statements
- Letter of employment
- Proof of address for both of us (Drivers licence, Cellphone and CableTV bills)
By the way, in my PPR email they didn't ask me to provide them new photos and biometrics. It could be another reason for the landing interview! How about you?
