I have noticed that most of December and November applicants have got their decisions made soon after a month or two of being IN PROCESS, but many of the January and February applicants did not get their decisions made, is it because of the visa office? or have they got a huge back logs?

I am confused why many of those who have got IP in august haven't their decisions made on their applications. Are they slow in updating ECAS or they are getting slow????

I have a theory. I am in Canada since 2007 and lived in 3 different provinces. I know an applicant who arrived in 2012 and is a January applicant who got PPR this month. My application is taking long as I lived in 3 provinces. So, they might be waiting for security check from all these provinces.

We are in canada since August 2012 our application was submitted on 27 of January and since 27 of July in progressing so I'm not sure about your vision. We need to just wait good luck to everyone

I dont think your theory will hold up. My application has been in process since July 15 and I have only lived in one province and been in Canada since 2011.

Hi, I'm a January applicant. CIO Sydney had received my file on first week on Jan. Medical was done on first week of March. I paid RPRF in May. After that there is no progress in my ecas which is still showing 2 lines; application received and medical results have been received. It's frustrating me cause my status is not showing in process or DM. Some applicants who sent their files after me are one or two steps ahead of me. Can anyone address me on this issue. Is it happen often???

Dunno when my status will change, still no IP, Application received by CIO Jan 6 2014, Each and every day I look at my ecas for an update, so many months have passed nothing at all.

Yeah same timeline with me.Everytime I look at my ecas it has been the same as if my file was sitting in an empty desk while others are being processed

Its like life is on a hold, cannot do anything till the time we get PR.
visa is running out soon so may have to apply for a BWP. pls can anyone suggest how long it takes to get a bwp?

I know couple of pple who applied in december last week. Their status did not change till the end of september to IP but soon after IP they got their decision made in 15 days.. I guess those who have not got IP will get their IP and DM very quick now. IP is usually the last step for anyone to get their PR so i would advise all if u have waited for long, just wait some more time. Anyhow we will all get our DM sooner or later.. But we will...

Last month I was requesting my application to GCMS to know what happen about my application coz til now there is no progress. Now, I received my application from them and the content about my application was in there everything my files and my documents also with my child except my wife. She has no file or documents In my files just only me and my child. She's file is missing. When i was applied to CIC her UCI number is not the same when she came here in canada. In vancouver the immigration issued a new UCI number to her and she got also error in her work permit in her sex they put male. So, when they ask me the schedule A last May 15 and also the RPRF, I was pass to the CIC and I put the UCI in schedule A the new one. But when we applied to correct the error on her work permit theychange and now the UCI of her today is the old one when she was in outside canada before.
I just need help what should i do so to know what is wrong about the files of my wife. Thats why there is no update in my ecas because of my wife file or document missing.

It seems that it might be the issue why it's delayed or maybe not.I am a January 6 applican and still no IP.I have read back the request for a new schedule A and RPRF payment they sent me last Feb and my wife was included for the request of PCC.I am also clueless what is happening as some march are now on IP and some January applicants got their PPR now.
With your case, I guess the only thing to do is to call them or send Ottawa an email. Ottawa replies quick based on my experience as fast as 2 days.Tell them your case and what are the steps you need to do about the issue.They might reply you the generic " Our staff will contact you if we need anything more " but at least there is the effort to inform them and you did not take the matter seating down.
Just my 2 cents.
