no update for me too from CIC.
But, I had emailed MP in my area and reply after 4 days.
Reply said, my application,Background check are currently in process, as these are done by agency outside of CIC, it can often takes few months for results to come back(in process stated July 25).Eligibility has passed, medical results and valid next year.Current processing times is 17 months so they said within time .

Were you able to submit all PCCs before your status turnes to IP?
I can see that Aug 25 request of PCCs is very close to Sept 17 IP status and taking into consideration the processing time of PCCs from abroad..​
