A friend mentioned, ecas is updated every Tuesday.
Does that mean we have to wait for another week for our application status update?
pls share your experience.

Yes CIC updates on Tuesdays.....but usually they start reflecting online on individual statuses anything from evening time Thursday of the same week to Friday. Sometimes it can continue to Monday of the following week (through the weekend...I have had all my updates on Sundays for example).
So get ready for tomorrow.....pal.
