Still no IP from a January 6 applicant. the only thing that make me sane is by looking at some November applicants that took them 7 months plus ( 4 and some 6 days ) before they turn into IP.some of them saw the change in ecas like 4 days since it turned into IP. So I'm giving myself another week not to panic ???

Our work permit is ending OCT 2nd 2014 and doubtful whether to extend visa or not?
Please let me know how to apply for bridging open work permt in the visa forms i dont find such an option

Also when we sent our PCC in the cover letter my hubby mentioned my UCI instead of his UCI though we have mentioned the correct application number. Will this be an issue?

Hi, I am January applicant and my ECAS was turned into IP in middle week of July.
Lots of December applicants whose ecas status still didn't change into IP.
I don't know how the CIC officers process our applications but sometimes we have to be patience.
I will advice that never make a follow-up to CIO because it will just cause delays on your applications.

I think it will not be an issue for as long as you have completed all documents needed for your application then you're good.
Also, never doubt to extend your work permit because you need to have a valid work permit while your application for PR is still in process.
Time is of the essence, you only have less than 2 months before your work permit expires, so you better apply an BOWP as soon as possible.
Under the condition of BOWP, you are eligible for an open work permit if your current WP is due to expire within 4 months.

where do you want to send it? to CIC? send it if they ask you to send it,if they didn't ask you to send it then don't..

I have a question for anyone who has submitted additional documents recently,
my question is, does cic send an email to knowledge that they have received the additional documents?

In my case cic received my documents on 28 July but till date I have not received any email from cic to say that they have received the documents.

my status on ecas is still showing application received, I am a January last week applicant.

It should change to IN PROCESS soon Bhim...i semt them my docs on july 24 and the status changed on august 9..
