AINP application after work permit expiry!!!!!

Is there anyone still in this forum? My work permit going to expire in Mid April 2017 and l applied on March 30th. Any chance l get nomination if my work permit expires? I haven't applied for LMIA and l am on open work permit now.

Hi，how was your ainp？I have similar situation as you.I have applied the AINP still waiting but work permit expired soon.Do I get the nomination if I am implied status for work permit extension after work permit expired ?

Apply in paper before your work permit expires, wait till the last week prior to its expiration date to mail the application, include an explanation letter that you are waiting for your nomination. That will give you 100 days on implied status according to the processing time shown on the website now. Then as soon as you get your nomination certificate, mail in your certificate with your file number.

Is it work?As AINP stated must have valid work permit during the assessment.even if in a implied status and working,Not sure if they will issue the certificate?

I got my AINP one month before my work permit was going to expire. I already got PR through express entry though
