from your example it can be seen that processing time isn't so scarying - about 5-6 months after application submission, thank you for good news!

we're looking for options now - what province to chose to move from Ontario.
we are a couple of students who will be graduated on August 2016 and we've realized that there is almost no chance to receive Ontario PNP invitation and become PR...

It looks for me that Alberta is the best choice in our case.

Can you please kindly advise the difference and the best choice for us between programs:

1. SRS, Engineering Occupation Category ( my husband has NOC 2232 Mechanical engineering technologists and technicians).

is there no need for APEGGA in this case?
is there no need for job offer and any documents from Employer?
husband just need to confirm that he is currently working in Alberta ( no matter how long, even if he has been working just for a week in current position he can apply?

2. EDS, International graduate category
There is a need of job offer, isn't it?
and there is a need of working full-time for the employer at the time of application;

So it looks for me, that for SRS EOC is easier to apply - no need to ask for a lot of docs from employer, is this correct?

So depressed about file status!! Actually i submit my AINP file on march 17th under EMPLOYER DRIVEN STREAM! and recieved my file number on june 2nd. But the question is tbey send me link to check status of my file in email with file number. When i go to that link (AINP PROCCESSING AND INVENTORY PAGE). It shows me they are working on application recived on 2 june to 8 june. This update was two weeks ago now they will again undate there page in this monday! But I didn't received anything yet! Coz the time they shows it already been passed when they received my file number but I didn't gey anything yet! My job title is FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR! Workpermit is on LMIA based! Please if some have any idea about it please reply!! Thank you!!

Hello guys. Please I really need help with applying for SRS-PGW as I recently got a full time job. My issue is this; my spouse currently lives in the UK. He is currently "out of status" but awaiting restoration as he currently has an application with the immigration office there which will take about 3-4months before he gets a response from them. If i decide to apply for SRS-PGW right now, in some of the forms, the place for spouse information requires to indicate spouse country of residence and status there, there is "other" and CIC guide says if one chooses "other", then in the description box beside it, one can write "out of status, awaiting restoration". Do you guys think I can go with this option and then send in my application as soon as possible or do i wait for about 3-4months till my spouse status is restored in the UK before sending in my application? (P.S. he will be applying for open work permit to come over here to canada as soon as his status is restored there.)

Please guys i will really appreciate your advise. I have read somewhere that if a spouse is out of status in another country it doesnt affect anything but I dont know how true this is. Please help.

Your file being processed really fast. They are working on Feb 16 application, However, you applied on April 13th. Good luck dude.
