Hi guys,
My AINP application (SRS-PGW) was received on Feb. 22, and received file number on April 20.
I have a question and appreciate if you could provide any answers.
Last year I heard from someone that for AINP they require the CPP and EI to be deducted from salary. I am a postdoc and no CPP or EI are shown on my paycheck, so I am wondering would that be a problem?

I am not too sure if they check that. But, they might ask you for your pay stubs which usually contain all the information including the salary and the deductions. Do you have a full time permanent position ?

Actually I sent them the pay stub showing all the deductions.
My job is full time, but it is not permanent. for AINP. I did not see that the job has to be permanent. They just say that you have to be working during the time that the AINP application is being processed.

uhmmm I am pretty sure I read full-time permanent job. E.I and CPP comes off over everyones paycheck,

Post graduate category does not have the permanent job requirement. So it means that CPP and EI are not required?

CPP and E,I are mandatory deductions off of everyone's paycheck. If they are not taking it off your paycheck then something must be wrong. What sort of an organization you work for may I ask?

Hi guys!

Application send: january 30th
Application refused: middle of march (sorry I dont remember the day 16 or 17, employer mistake) send again the next day

File number: got it may 3th

My work permit expired today and today I got a call for CIC, the wanted to know what I am doing for get a new work permit, we applied for an LMIA, still waiting for an answer, so they request a copy of the LMIA, letter that I still working (implied status) and a copy of my extension wp payment, send those papers today.

Somebody know if is possible to get the nomination if the work permit is already expired and then apply for a bridging work permit or my only chance is wait for the LMIA approved?

Somebody told me that is not possible to get a nomination if the wp is already expired, but I am still working and I am in implied status

Thanks!!

I got my nomination today, nomination update may 5, same day that my work permit expired
