Dear Concern,

On Tuesday 2022 July 19, my AINP portal got updated from Submitted to Information Requested. However, my current/past employer has not received any email or inquiry from them. Can it be possible that status can be updated but not be received any email?
Or is it possible that changing the status is a formality and they make a decision without informing to my employer?

It is very low chances, it could be a chance that it may have gone in spam. It could be likely that email address is wrong. I had read somewhere in this forum that they had received communication that the employer had not replied in the given timeline. Then they looked closely and the email had gone to spam.

I am so worried that my employer checked all folders but nowhere. Also, email address is not wrong. It's been already 4 days and no emails have been received nor any calls. My employer is very supportive and I am sure that he doesn't cheat me. How to respond them without receiving email whereas portal status is now " Information Requested" ? How long this status be remained ? Or they auto cancel the application if they did not receive any information from the employer. But, they do not have sent the email and status is changed. Please help me.....

Can we contact to the Alberta government that my employer has not received any email , but the status has been updated? and finally, please tell me what does your last sentence mean " Then they looked closely and the email had gone to spam. " They" mean who? If it is my employer, then there is no email even in spam.

Yes by "they" I mean employer. When was your account updated? Did you mentioned more than 1 employer? Have you checked with them as well. Maybe you can contact Alberta govt. try to look for contact number or email address on the MADI website.

Actually, they(Alberta Government) contacted to Canadian employer who had offered me a job. But they did not send any notification to my current or past employer who are in my country now.(I am not in Canada now). So, my Canadian employer verified that they offered a job to me to the officer.

And, my profile was updated on 19 July 2022 after 77 days of the submission. I had mentioned only one's email address and phone number from my current company and same with the past employer.

Actually, they(Alberta Government) contacted to Canadian employer who had offered me a job. But they did not send any notification to my current or past employer who are in my country now.(I am not in Canada now). So, my Canadian employer verified that they offered a job to me to the officer.

And, my profile was updated on 19 July 2022 after 77 days of the submission. I had mentioned only one's email address and phone number from my current company and same with the past employer.

I think it should be fine now. Mine also got picked after 2 months approx. Employer reverted on Friday and got certificate on Monday. Any news?

My Canadian employer has confirmed my employment whereas my home country's employer has not received any emails from them regarding the information. It is already 9 days. I am currently outside Canada and a Canadian employer had offered me a job which has been confirmed. But why they are not sending emails to my home country's employer yet? Do you have any idea? If they issued a Nomination certificate, I would get an ITA in the upcoming round of invitations that is on August 3, 2022.

No idea, usually they do it rather quickly once they pick the file.
