I still don't understand.

You make an account for an indvidual (or a representative, etc). You link that individual account to an application.

The application information doesn't disappear - just now a different account is linked to it.

(As best I understand this but perhaps I've misunderstood)
I have confused you. Ok so I hired a representative and he made my EE profile and he has submitted my eAPR. I don't have access to that account. If now I raised a web form for removing the representative, IRCC will do all correspondence with me but what about the account access? How will I get that?

Once the rep is removed, you lino to the application, either as the individual or as new représentative.

Hi all,

My agent is refusing to share gckey and password detail, although i have email id and password for account registered for correspondence .

Lame excuse was given that I might change the details in the form by mistake.

Is there anything suspicious and i should be worried about?
Is gckey required after landing in canada too?
Representatives have their dedicated online portal to submit applications on behalf of their clients. Since this account has confidential information belonging to other clients as well they might not feel comfortable sharing their username and password.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/partners-service-providers/authorized-paid-representatives-portal.html

You are, however entitled to get all the updates from IRCC wrt to your profile from your representative, failing which can invite serious troubles for the representative.

Hi,
If the consultant is not sharing account information with you and you want to go with a New GC key login. Will it cancel your application or put your case at risk; in your previous account managed by your consultant? Thanks

I was also in same situation, but i could able to link my existing profile to my new GIC account. Now i can able to manage the express entry profile.
Also i had submit webform to cancel the representative last month but no reply from IRCC.
But My concern is that, still the old consultant have access to my account or receiving emails.

Kindly help. Thanks in advance.
