You are missing the fact that 1 ITA is not equal to 1 immigrant. Spouses and dependents are included in 1 ITA. Therefore I would say the number is much lower than that

This looks like some good news and the points should go down considerably before even year end.

Total invitaions since June 1, 2016 = 10,903
Target for 2016 (ITAs till June 2017) = 73,700 (Only Federal Economic Class)
Remaining ITAs for 7 months = 62797
ITAs per month = 8,971

Suppose they continue with 2 draws a month, ITAs per draw = 4485 and thats a huge number!!!

Even if they take 3500 ITAs per draw, the score should drop below 450 easily.

That's what I thought.

That quota is for people who go over as single, then sponsor the rest of their family to come over.

Actually it's not! That federal quota includes the families that are included in the ITA.

You have posted this at least one other thread and it was pointed that this is not at all how the system works.

EE changes please, thats's the news i want to hear or read about. Im sure people below 450 points want the same thing. Enough with the numbers and the guessings of how many for next year ect.. The only way to make it in EE is to increase score. How are they going to do that? Well,thats the report i want to read everything else is just data.

Betty, you may stay at the same CRS and still get an ITA. If the total number of ITA's increase the CRS will eventually drop, so all information is important. Good luck.

Immigration targets are the people already in the pool and the old system and their families but YOU CANT PREDICT how many people you will have by march 2017 for exemple so stop looking at this numbers cuz they are what they are an estimate , how does these number help someone increase score or an international graduate or a frech speaker. Come on ! they can still reach that new target leaving EE the way it is right now everybody knows that. The question is, are international graduates, french speakers parts of that target? Or will they have to wait one more year till they decide to lower the score. Give me a break

I doubt it. I think there will be greater points awarded for items like Canadian education and work experience.

They increased mine it was 408 before and I got email about profile update know it's 421.
