HELLO,

PLEASE I NEED A PROFESSIONAL ADVICE HERE. I AM 30 YEARS OLD. I GOT MY HIGH SCHOOL CERTIFICATE IN 2001.SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN WORKING. NOW I JUST GOT ADMISSION AT LAMBTON COLLEGE TO BUSINESS ADMINITRATION-MEDICALS AT THE DIPLOMA LEVEL.

I NEED SOMEONE TO TELL ME:
(1) WILL MY AGE REDUCE MY CHANCES OF GETTING A STUDY PERMIT?
(2) AGAIN AM APPLYING FOR VISA IN ANOTHER COUNTRY, NOT MY COUNTRY TOGO, WILL THAT ALSO REDUCE MY CHANCES OF GETTING VISA?

I SHALL BE SO HAPPY IF MY REQUEST IS GRANTED ME AS THIS WILL GUIDE ME IN MY VISA PROCESSING

I doubt you'll be able to get any solid information, i.e., anything other than anecdotal responses. That said, I'm currently enrolled in the Arts & Sciences Diploma program at Langara College in Vancouver. I'm 53 years old and had no trouble whatsoever getting my study permit. Also applied for and received spousal open work permit for my wife (also mid 50's), who is here accompanying me. Three weeks ago I requested a one-year extension to my study permit so that I can take additional courses that interest me. Approval for the extension request (I applied online) took only 11 calendar days.

Hopefully this helps you out. Best of luck in your endeavors!
