Hello,

Has anyone experienced any issue about their age CRS points and would like to share?

I got an ITA in September 2020. As a 31 years old, the points for my age was 100. Unfortunately, the application was cancelled because it was incomplete. I had to get back into Express Entry pool this February at 32, surprisingly my score dropped to 85.

Please note that this an application with a spouse.

Your contributions would be appreciated.

Thanks, I ahve seen thus link. The questionis connecting it with my 2020 points, does that mean that my 2020 point was a mistake?

Your current age points are accurate.

Are you sure you got 100 points previously?

Anyway - doesn't really matter. What you have now is correct.

I suppose your application was indicating you were single back in September, but now it includes your spouse as well. If that is the case, then it is completely fine as the age factor is 10 points less in the married couple case. Thus, instead of 95, you are getting 85. That 10 points (and some other points) are transferred to your spouse's qualifications.

No, it has always been with a spouse. With this information is mind, at 31 with spouse should have been 90 and without spouse 99. At 32, 85 and 94 respectively. Right?

I am continuously checking scores on the CRS calculator and visited the mentioned website frequently, but I didn't notice any change recently.
Did you lose more than 5 points this time compared to last time?

Yes, my points was down with 15 points as against 10 going by the fact that I had an ITA stating 100. Could that be a mistake on the path of IRCC? I would like to know if anyone had a similar experience

It might be due to something else (possibly a change you made or they made), I am 31 and I received 90 points for my age, thus I assume your points are correct.

Any chance that you mis-typed your birthday? I think a bug of this sort is highly unlikely - so I'm thinking it's human error - either in entering your info or remembering the score.
