According to EE point system, maximum points (110) are for the age 20-29.

For 30 years of age, there are 105 points.

Question--> While applying, If I am 29 years COMPLETED (that is 30 RUNNING), do I get 110 points or 105 points??

Please help!

You are either 29 or 30. 29 if you haven't reached your 30th birthday and 30 if you have. Simple as that

write 29 and it will automatically reduce 5 points after your next birthdate.

The thing is, I will be leaving to the US in fall 2016 for Masters of 1 year and want to finish it before I turn 30.

I hope I am doing the right thing - Especially since I want to get 135 points for Education.

Not sure if Canadian Masters will Trump over a US Masters as far as applying under FSW is concerned?

I have heard Canadian govt. is planning to give extra points to canadian students. Anybody has idea on this??

In that case, will choosing a Canadian masters over US Masters give me additional points ?

Currently there are no extra points to Canadian students.

If you got masters from US, you need to obtain ECA http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/eca-conversion.asp ECA is required for all Non-Canadian degrees.

If you get a very good IELTS, you can also get skill transfer-ability score with your foreign degrees.
