After sending passport, how long does CIC take to stamp the PR visa?

Guys I have a question, My current passport expired, so I renewed before my PPR and send them the new one. Is that right? Or i should have send them both(including the cancelled/expired) one too ?

I got PPR on Feb27. Submitted Passport to ADVO on same day. No news since. What is the timeline for PPR->Visa for ADVO visa stamping these days?

Issue is that I am on UAE grace period till 15th of March, because i got my visa cancelled on 15th Feb. After that, I will have to start paying fines for overstaying. My new company has processed my new UAE visa but I need the passport back from ADVO for stamping!

Currently I am in urgent situation. My medical expired on June 15, so I need to have my passport PR visa by then. Did you send you passport for permanent residency visa too?? Did you require fast service or? ANY ADVICE WILL BE USEFUL FOR ME. THANKS
