They told my husband at the end of the interview that he was approved, but did not take his passport because he medical had expired amd needed to redo it, they also asked for a new police clearance.

Mexico emailed him 10 days after his interview, with instructions to repeat medical(there is a special paper to bring) amd to get a new police clearance, certified and translated and to mail it to Mexico.
My husbands documents arrived yesterday at the Mexico VO, so now we wait to hear from them for the passport request.

I really hope that your wife gets her interview before her medical expires. It has been such a long wait for us (going on 15 months) and then to have to spend all the extra money isnt fun. My husband spent about 14,000 pesos on medical, police report, translation ans certification of the police report and then the cost to send it to Mexico, its ridiculous!

I got a letter stating i would be scheduled for an interview last month.

We are still waiting for the interview date.

My husband had his interview, after 14 months! Trust me, I know how awful the wait is.
For your sake, I hope they advise you soon of the date. We knew for 5 months that he was getting an interview before they advised us of a date! Hang in there

I have heard quite a few that have given the passport the day of interview. Depending how much time before expiry, I have heard of people with only days after receiving their visa and having to land in Canada due to expiry date.
