I got my AOR in February 2016. 2 days ago my status changed to BG in progress.
I am however on business travel and will return to Canada in 6 weeks.
So I want to know how much time is given after ppr - is it 30 days or 60 days?

Express entry in Canada
ITA December 18
AOR Feb 15

Thank you for the response.
So then I have to come back earlier if I do get my ppr.

Once you get your PPR letter, you can write to your VO (I assume it is CPC-Ottawa) and ask for an extension to submit your passport when you return to Canada, in case you cannot submit it within 30 days. This is instructed in the letter, and you can find the email address to contact there.

No need to change your travel plans. CIC is pretty flexible and understands that people make travel plans too.

Hi Alok,

Do we have a 30 days window to submit our passport after getting PPR as of march 2019?

Can we courier our passport or we have to be physically be present to submit it?

If you can help me with these queries of mine, I would be very thankful to you.

Regards,
Sheena

They would have sent instructions on how to submit the passport. It can differ from one country to another, but the usual norm is that you can either go and submit the passport in person or post it to your nearest VFS for Canada center.

I am applying from India. Haven't reached that stage yet, so asking.

Your post implied that you had received it already. No worries, when the PPM email eventually comes, it will have detailed instructions. In a nutshell, you will need to submit passport at your nearest VFS for Canada center, either by post or in person. The stamped passport will be returned to you at a later date by either Speed Post or Bluedart, depending on what you chose and pay for.
