After nomination for PNP with Job offer stream

Hi ALL,

After nomination approved for PNP with job offer stream, I am wondering in the PR application stage, is CIC going to contact employer to make sure we are still working for the same employer? anyone has experience?

since I don't really like my job now but my prescreen has been submitted in July last year, i don't want to give up now, I am afraid that if CIC will contact employer in the PR application stage, I have to work for the other about 2 years under the same employer. the PR will take about 1 year to receive medical check I believe.

As far as I understand we should not change employer until PR is in our hands.
If you want to change employer would have to start all over!

they may not check, but if they finds out, they have the right to cancel your application as you are obligated to tell them you don't work for the job offered to you.

If you don't work for the job you've been offered, your application will be denied. This is true until you land as PR.

Right now PNP at CIC takes about 1 year from App Received to PPR. Outlander tends to be quicker than inlanders.
