After Medicals- passport copies requested by London Visa Office via email

Hi,

We have done with our medicals on 27th July 2015. On 8th Sept 2015, we received an email by LVO to submit passport copies of principal applicant and all dependents within 30 days; which we did. Our status is already in DECISION MADE since 27th july 2015. What does it mean? Are we getting original passport submission email soon?
Our application moved from islamabad to london office last year where we submit additional n updated docs before july 2015 medicals. It has been 8-9 years since our sponsor submitted family class application.

I'm not sure why they would request copies of your passports before your PPR, but if they have done so and you already have final DM then that is good news as you have probably been approved and your long wait is close to an end.

But 9 years? Is this a parent sponsorship?

Yes, its under family sponsorship which includes parents and 2 dependents. My mother passport was about to expire in last week of Sept 2015.. may be that's y they recall for copies of passport. Our ecas updated with several points about correspondence has been sent on xyz date....
