Hello,
I am a May 2014 Applicant. I took an upfront medical exam late Nov 2014 which was 2-3 weeks before the day I supposed to receive a medical request from CIC.
I thought I will still receive a medical request because my upfront medical was done very close to the expected medical-request day and CIC would not receive my medical results next few weeks.
But I haven’t received anything so far and it makes me very afraid.
From the application status website, it says “APPLICATION RECEIVED” and when I click on it, it goes to the next page and says as follows:
1. We received your application for permanent residence on May XX, 2014.
2. Medical results have been received.
Question 1: Can anyone tell me whether it is a good sign or not?
Question 2: If it is a good sign, is it a good idea to pay RRSF upfront?
Question 3: If the status doesn't mean I am safe, where can I contact to ask why I don't receive anything..?
Also I have a printed copy of https://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/health-requirements/_images/notsubmitted_600px.jpg.. I was informed by the clinic that CIC will ask me to summit this paper in the future. Then, I need to send it to somewhere… but I haven’t received anything so far….
Question 4: Where should I send it to? Should I email it to “CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca” or mail it(if so, please provide a mailing address… I applied through Sydney Office)?
Last question, I changed my mailing address in Sept 2014 through their application status website. The website is updated with my new address, but I heard there are some cases it is updated on the website but not updated on the actual file, so they didn’t receive mails from CIC….
Question 5: Is there any way I can check if my new address is updated correctly in all files?
Your help will be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Karen
