After medical done - london

I spoke with CIC london(the lady was helpful) and was told they send the generic email out when there is no new development to update the applicant with.I was also advised that atimes they ask for new PCC if the old one is over a year old.I pray i am not told to do a new one as it takes some time to get it done and this can slow the process.Can anyone who already has their PR please advise if they asked them for new PCC compulsorily after medicals or is it a case of luck? The lady advised that they have a lot of applications to deal with hence the slow process and that my 2 months waiting time is still ok(am pissed though).I wish everyone good luck.

I guess you are one of the luckiest of us all as you could speak with the CHC representatives while many do not even get reply to their emails to CHC.
Could you please share the contact telephone number of the CHC, London who can assist many of us here who have been waiting for PPR for more than three months after their medical reports have been submitted to the CHC.

it too early for any replay from V.O
but i have a question

if they will ask for additional medical investigation , they will ask for it by regular mail or by e-mail?
also who long it will take to ask for additional medical investigation (if they need it ) after sending medical 1st time

Even I am also thinking of calling them for an update as it is almost six months now since they have got my medical details and no passport request yet to me.

hello2ca, you are better of sending them an email first. i read somewhere that a guy called them after waiting for 5months and within 2hours his PR letter was in his email.

Yesterday during Lunch time I try to call this number (LONDON CHC -ENQUIRY) but they not give any case specific enquiry or representative details
As PER Telephonic message, must be communicate via E.MAIL only
I spoken one of the lady as well but she give me advice to send email or fax to CHC.
But thanks friend all of your efforts and help

i can understand your frustration,but no one can do any thing to speed up the visa process.
In my opinion it ll be appropriate to leave UK and update London chc about your new address and drop few lines that you are leaving UK.
All the process will continue and when they deem fit they ll send you PPR, as per my knowledge they send PPR by email so you dont need to worry about the postal address. last thing is visa stamp and i have seen so many case on these forum that applicants have sent their passport from India so u dont need to worry about it. i would reccomend you to leave UK with peace of mind and wait for your turn patiencly.

rag61180, i want to believe it is almost our turn to get the visa.When did you do your medicals?
I just read on another forum about someone who did there medicals in london on 24/07/10 whose visa was approved yesterday and has been told to send passport in.I think we are getting there God helping!!

last week I allreafy contact CHC but thay reply same answer : IN PROCESS
I m thinking 2morrow personaly visited LONDON CHC and give application for my file trandfer london to delhi .

I recieved same reply from london office which i got 15 days ago, My file is still with an immigration officer for review, How long it takes to review one file?
