In my case CHC ask me second time UK PCC and RPRF befoe medical so I think thay all ready done my background check .
Medical request : 20/06/2010
Medical submited : 24/06/2010

All most 3 month and 1 week pass.
Still ECAS showing in process ( no any update ) ???

Last week, I send e.mail to london CHC for file process inquiry and thay give me reply
My File is in review at this time
I donot know still how many more time thay tack ...........

is any one have same problem and situation like me .
please let me know .

I am thinking to personally visited London CHC and explan the my situation .
what you think that`s good idea ?

I doubt if you can go to the CHC without prior appointment. I suggest you ask for one appointment by sending them an email through their enquiry web page.

Could you please tell me why did they ask you UK PCC twice? Was your first UK PCC more than one year old by the time they request for your Medicals?

Also have you been asked by the CHC to submit supplementary immigration information form?

Is anyone know about that,

In this stage , if I change my living country ( uk to india ) whats I need to do ?
( My uk visa finish next end of the month and I have no scope for no more uk visa extensation.So I need to go back to india ,I am still waiting for passport request from CHC ,)

Drop them a case specific enquiry asking the status of your application and that medical is done 3 months before. I did the same thing and was replied in 3 days asking me to send my passports for visa stamping.

i have time line exactly like yours i sent my medicals in mid june and my ecase was changed to medical results have been received in mid august.when i sent case specific enquiry they replied that they dont anticipate to send a PPR untill dec2010/jan2011. so we have exactly same situation. i dont know how long it ll take. by the way i dont think their is any way you can book any appointment n visit London chc in person.

i just found this on the Canadian High Commission website.

Medical Processing Times

All immigrants and their dependents must pass a medical examination. As well, all visitors, students and temporary employees intending to be in Canada for longer than six months must pass a medical examination. Following completion of the medical examination the examining physician is responsible for sending the results to the Immigration Medical Services in Kenya. There, a Canadian medical officer reviews the examination results and then advises us of the results. This advice may be either positive, negative or an indication that the medical officer requires further information.

Normally, we receive results from the medical officer within 6 to 8 weeks of the information being sent to Kenya. You will only be contacted regarding medical results if there is a negative result or a need for further tests.

I think your background checks (or whatever checks they were up to) have now been completed and your file is being queued for a final review (the outcome of which is hopefully a Passport request). I sincerely hope that this seemingly endless waiting will soon be over for you: with great result!

As for your prospective return to India, this information will not affect your application processing at this time. So, the only thing you would want to make sure is that you provide them with your new address in India where you'd want your mail to be delivered. I suggest that you wait for a few weeks and then e-mail CHC-London: tell them about your planned return to India and explain how an early decision on your application could help your situation. I don't think such an e-mail will speed up application processing but will probably fetch you an update!!

Now, I need your suggestion and golden advice.
As per my case, today, all most 3 months and 15 day pass after medical submitted to London CHC.
I am still waiting for them reply and passport request.
As you know, I also run out my UK visa end of this month
Now, I have very short time in UK
If they not send me passport requirement what should I need to do? (Still ECAS showing IN PROGESS)
Or in this 5-7 days if they send me passport request,
It be possible, I do stamping in India? (London to India, my file process in London)

Hi rag61180,
I doubt if CHC London will allow you to stamp Visa from CHC New Delhi when your case is processed here at London. Only CHC can give you the right answer to your queries.

However I have read in this forum that these days, DHL is accepting Indian Passports to be mailed from India with an authorisation letter from you and a copy of the Passport request from CHC, London.
So even if you have to go to India, you can use DHL's service for sending your passports to London for Visa stamping. But my advice would be to confirm this with the Local DHL office at your place in India.

Also please let me know why did you have to do the police clearance certificate twice?

London office asked me same for an updated UK Police certificate,coz mine was expired as well it was one year old.
when did you get that email for updated uk pcc? i have applied for that already.

We all ready submitted everything and than 20/06/2010 we get request for Medical
Now all most 3 months and 2 week pass

I spoke with CIC london(the lady was helpful) and was told they send the generic email out when there is no new development to update the applicant with.I was also advised that atimes they ask for new PCC if the old one is over a year old.I pray i am not told to do a new one as it takes some time to get it done and this can slow the process.Can anyone who already has their PR please advise if they asked them for new PCC compulsorily after medicals or is it a case of luck? The lady advised that they have a lot of applications to deal with hence the slow process and that my 2 months waiting time is still ok(am pissed though).I wish everyone good luck.
