After landing, shall we shift to another Province?

Hello All,

I have a doubt. From India and got COPR for myself and family.

If I won't get Job at Ontario, then may I shift to another province if I get any job?

Please advise.

Yes you can move to any where in Canada after your get PR(after completing landing). But I would suggest you something that once you get PR don't move to Quebec for minimum initial 6 months.
 
if you immigrated under CEC, yes...if under PNP, then it is a little grey area...

if you have not landed, then don't say you want to move to Quebec

In CEC category , yes you can
 
I guess you could not move to Quebec, otherwise, there may be some problems when you renew you PR card or apply for citizenship. Congratulations, I am still stuck in MR waiting. :(

So, even If I will land in Toronto and then going to Quebec, I can't get my PR card and citizenship?

Is there any special approval required to work in Quebec under CEC?

Please advise.
 
Dear friends,

Can anyone advise what will be the implications if

I land in Toronto and apply for PR using friend's address. Since my company has open position at Montreal, I need to move there to Quebec.

Or is there a way I can request to change my Province in my application (My application already approved and got Visa stamped)?

Yo dude there is no changing provinces with CEC you can land wherever you want but you can't stay in Quebec.

I mean if you will move there after landing everything will be all right but when you will apply for PR renewal or Citizenship they will check it for sure and then you are busted so keep it in mind.

What will happen, if I take that job for survival for now, and then move after 6 months back to Ontario?

For PR renewal or Citizenship, If I stayed in other Province for 6 months, will it screwed up?
