Hi!

CIC received application on November 26th 2014.
AOR received on April 15 2014.

I didn't apply via Express Entry (it was not available at that time), but have a XEP application number.

Hey guys,

This is very confusing indeed - I did not apply under express entry but also got my confirmation from CIC yesterday with a file number that starts with XEP... Not sure what this means.

My info:

BC PNP
Nominated Nov 22nd 2014
Sent app to CIC NS Nov 24th 2014
Delivered to CIC NS Nov 28th 2014
Received email from Centralized intake office with XEP file number: April 15th 2015

congrats to guys who got AOR.. its a big relief. Can you please update your NOC codes while you update aboout you AOR receivals, as we can see there are couple of people who did not receive AOR yet,this is to just confirm that not only people with NOC A or B are getting AOR early, if like that as people are talking about XEP file number, then it can be considered they are included under express entry too..

Spoke to CIC ,

XEP is not Express Entry.

This is a temporary file number and turns into EP ( i.e. X will vanish) when they begin working on our files.

Hope this helps and sorts the confusion unless someone else has anything to add or differ.

It was a nonsense to think this suddenly was into express entry.

Stop rushing into everything, we have to be happy for having our AOR's already, when we weren't expecting to get them for another month or two.

I guess they have put all the applications in Express Entry after 1 Jan. 2015

Probably not all applicants.. But maybe those ones who are skilled.. Otherwise I d be so happy and hopeful for a faster processing time. Im noc C ;/

Anatalia, i agree with you, they have put some applicatns with skilled category ino XEP...
i dont know much abt it, i searched a lot, but its a confusion that needs to be sort out, it is also true that they have started X after 1 jan 2015...lets c

guys i have aslo received AOR 15 april 15 and rec by cic on 22 jan 15 and nominated by manitona pnp on nov 30 2014 but how it is possible that this XEP is express entry file number please be realistic they had clearly stated those who had nominated under EE system or those who make profile in EE for skilled worker are processed by Express entry system so how you can say that

I don't think that XEP is the temporary file number, why they didn't send the same to other applicants? On 14.04 many people got a regular num file, and on 15.04 many people got XEP
But I see another problem, why we didn't get the uci number???!! Nobody with file num XEP has uci number.
