Hi all,

After logging into my application after getting an ITA (on 9th May), I distinctly remember seeing "60 days" somewhere. I cant see it anywhere now. My application says "36 days to submit" . Is that all?

Is there ANYTHING I need to do before 60 days?? Please can anyone confirm?

Thanks!!
WinterDiva

The 60 days rule applies to ITAs received after June 26th. You have 90 days.

Hi Winterdiva,

Congratulations on getting the ITA. You need to start getting the documents like PCC, Medical exam, proof of funds, etc. You must have received an email from CIC mentioning the documents that you need to submit in your online profile. Please see the below link as it provides some guidance.

Also as you got your ITA in MAY18 , you should technically have 90 days to submit all the documents mentioned as required. The 60 days rule came to effect from 26 June 2018 only.

If you still have not started collecting the documents then I would suggest do it asap. As you don't have much time remaining.

Good Luck.

Yep, gathered all my docs.

I have a nagging feeling I've seen something that said "60 days" somewhere - when I checked on the day I got my ITA. I cant see it anywhere now.

Well if that's the case then I would suggest that you submit your profile within the 60 days that you are mentioning to be on a safe side. You also already have all the needed documents anyways.

Since your application says 36 days to submit, you don't have to worry. It's evident that you've been given 90 days. And now that you've gathered all your documents you can submit well before the deadline.

Application clearly states there are 36 days left to submit. There's no need to get worked up and submit in a hurry before that.

That glitch is there from before. It used to be 60 days before and they changed it to 90 but forgot to update the prompt. Now the days are changed to 60 again from June 26th. You have 90 days and go with the number of days remaining shown in your profile.

That explains it. Thanks !
I am sure I saw something that said 60 days.
