Hi,

My visa and Work Permit will expire in the end of June and I will apply for an extension. It’s likely that it will be refused due to the fact that I don’t have any linkages with my country (Brazil). I will apply five days before it has expired, once they have a delay to give the result and I can stay longer here and practice more English. Therefore, I have two questions AFTER I obtain the letter refusing my Visa/Work Permit.
1) How long can I stay in Canada (1 day, 1 week or 1 month)?
2) Could I apply to a visitor/tourist visa (staying more 90 days in Canada)?

Thank you,
Rafael.

Moreover, in that same situation, could I apply for work permit and Tourist/visitant some days before expire at the same time but the tourist visa I'd like to apply for start 2 months later my visa expire while I don't receive the answer of the renew of the work permit I could keep working over this 2 months.

Thank you,

Wait a minute. If you have an LMO and a job offer, there is no reason to think your work permit extension will be refused if you apply BEFORE it expires and do the process in Vegreville and assuming you are qualified for the job.

I'm working as dishwaser and I had friends in the same situation who had their visa refused.
So, AFTER I obtain the letter refusing my Visa/Work Permit.
1) How long can I stay in Canada (1 day, 1 week or 1 month)?
2) Could I apply to a visitor/tourist visa (staying more 90 days in Canada)?
Thank you,
