Hi everyone,

I have already applied the permanent residence visa with job offer and I am going to move to Canada most probably within 2 months. However, I have some concerns. What will happen, if the company fire me after 1-2 months or if I decide to leave from the company because of divergences? Is my visa going to be cancelled? Every job has kind of risks. Please support me on this issue.

Thanks

1. No, it won't be cancelled, once you "land" you can work or do whatever you want'

Permanent residence is exactly what it stays. It's permanent as long as you satisfy the residential obligations.
Losing a job has no impact. In fact most of the jobs are ensured.
If you get fired, you get paid a substantial percentage of your last drawn salary for quite some time, until you find a new job. The company firing you may also give you some sort of severance package in addition.
If you quit voluntarily, you do not get either of them. However, you still remain a PR.

Thank you for your support
