after GIC certificate how much more time visa processes takes?

Got my GIC certificate but it is not signed by bank officials? I have signed in the end and now it is with my agent who says it takes one day to file visa application and some formalities are left and i have to sign on few more documents which he is preparing.

After filing visa application how much time it takes for decision by VO.? Due to Scotiabanks lazy attitude whole procedure got delayed by almost a month.Is there any hope left for me....? as they say still strike is going on ...and my class will start on sept 3...so many things are left to do.This delay is killing me and all other students as well.

Don't loose hope, you can still apply for your visa. The last day of applying is 1st Aug. After you have submitted your completed application it will take exactly 2 weeks for the passport to be back in your hand.

but people are talking about some strike at CHC?? are people who applied in july/june gtting visa....from CHC Delhi or CHC Chandigarh?? Anyone got visa in this week. Fingers crossed what will happen . :-X ??? ...may be my file will reach CHC Chandigarh today or tomorrow.Will i get any type of emails?

Apply for jan intake.you can use all these documents for jan intake cause there is already delay in chandigarh chc processing.if you are from chandigarh,punjab,haryana then your file will go to chandigarh chc.so its up to you.

File sent to CHC Chandigarh today...dont know when will they receive. What a time they hv chosen for strike . Before i think that only Indian offices are messed up but see what is happening in developed nations.Firstly scotia bank wasted 1 month. Apni to Lagg gyi bhai :-[

Mera wi 1 month scotia bank ney waste kitta not for gic certificate or account but because i just wanted to get college name changed in their records.had they changed it without me sending them another mail.i would had applied by mid june.
