Hi
I just received my PR approval and trying to find a job in the province which nominated me. But I could see very less job openings in this province. Can I try obtaining a job in another province ? If I move out to different province will there be any issues in future while renewing the PR card or while obtaining Citizenship
?

Depends on the province you got PNP from - if you leave that province, some PNPs are quite punitive.

As a PR, you can work in any province. However, you must show documented intent that you tried to find a job in the province that nominated you for a considerable amount of time. It is just to keep you covered in case there is ever an audit during any of your interactions with IRCC.

Documented intent = copy of job applications, when you applied and what responses were.

Considerable amount of time = varies, but I would say minimum of 3 months. Closer to 6 months is much safer since it means you are running out of settlement funds and needed to sustain yourself.

Again, I am not suggesting you get out of the province on day 1, since that can be considered Fraud. Give it a try in the province that nominated you before you move to a new province.

Agree that you need to show an attempt to find employment in the province and you must move to the province. Think 2-3 months is likely fine if you can't find employment before moving on if you can't secure decent employment but make sure you keep the records of all the jobs you apply for, all the interviews you attend, etc.
