I have PR card in my hand. now i want to know that what is the next step?

I mean to complete 2 yrs out of 5 yrs. how to show that i stayed 2 yrs with in 5 yrs time

If you wish to remain only as a permanent resident of Canada, you should physically present in Canada for 2 years out of your next five year period counting from the date of landing.

In order to apply for a Canadian citizenship you should physically present in Canada for 3 years out of the 4 ( four ) year period.

There is no next step until you apply for a citizenship or renew your PR card before its expiry. There is much time ahead to think about this.

WHEN U MAY FILL CITIZENSHIP FORM, THERE U HAVE TO MENTIONED THE TRAVEL DATE IF U MAY GO OUT OF CANADA,
LETS SAY IF U HAVE ENTER IN CANADA ON 01/01/12 AND DIDN'T TRAVEL THEN U CAN APPLY FOR CITIZENSHIP AFTER 01/01/2015.

AND IF U MAY GO TO YOUR HOME COUNTRY FOR 2 MONTHS IN THESE 3 YEARS THEN U CAN APPLY AFTER 01/03/2015.
