Hello seniors,
Greetings!

I have my crs at 449 and hoping to get my ITA in the next draw...
I have a question regarding the support docs....
My work history
Ites 2004 to 2007
Ites 2007 to 2012
Did my Mtech 2010-2012
Joined IT in 2013 till 2016 Dec

However my work between 2004-2007 doesn't have much supporting docs so i didn't fill it in ee profile

Same for my husband...as well we both worked in the same company during 2004 to 2007, the company no longer exist so couldn't get support docs....

I didn't claim points for that work and didn't show it in my ee profile.

If I get my ITA, should I fill it there without docs or just mark it as house wife during that period...
For my spouse can I fill it as job hunting between 2003 and 2007... He has all papers for 2007 to 2013 and then he is working on his own as a free lancer... Working on multiple vertices and doesn't have any supporting docs

Please advice...

Your information will be much helpful for us...

Please dont cook up a story just for the sake of it. You should never hide anything from your Visa Officer. Any discrepancy results in rejection or in worst case scenario a ban as well.

As for both your work experience during 2004-07, if you are claiming points for it, you may request your reporting manager for a reference letter on a paper along with his contact details and, if possible, a business card as well. If you are not claiming any points then it makes it a lot simpler. Just mention this in your personal history and in the Letter of Explanation (LOE), but dont hide anything.

Actually I'm not cooking things up
I completely removed that work period because the company is closed in 2007.

I'm sure the government wouldn't accept the fact that the company is closed... They were not profitable and a small center... There was a pending pay for all employees and all of a sudden they closed, one fine day when we went to work... We saw the gate locked.

So no relieving letter or exp letters...

Should I remove it r what is the alternTe to be done

Forgot to mention.. that was not a registered company ...

And any info on f freelancing? With no support docs

So as far as I understand
I need to mention this in the personal history with a letter of explanation

Since I'm not claiming points for it..

Again will they accept it?

Won't there be a question of not mentioning it on express entry profile?

Any other supporting docs reqd? As We both don't have anything to support... After graduation our friend Ref the company and it was close to our home so we joined...

You can then just mention that in your personal history and in the LOE. It wont get you any points but would explain what you both were upto during those years. Explain everything in the LOE.

As for freelancing, it is very confusing. This i got from the forum itself.

"Here under Proof of work experience
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience).

Which should be the answer to my question BUT what made me confused is when I searched for "Canada immigration self-employed"
I got to this link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/business/self-employed/index.asp
Self-employed people
The Self-Employed Program seeks to bring people who will become self-employed in Canada. They must have either:

relevant experience in cultural activities or athletics, and
intend and be able to make a significant contribution to the cultural or athletic life of Canada, or
experience in managing a farm, and
intend and be able to buy and manage a farm in Canada."

So, I am not sure which category you fall under.

But i would like to tell you here that the maximum points you may score for your work experience in Express Entry is for an experience of maximum 3 years full time job. So, keeping that in mind i feel you are good to go. Rest lets keep doing our research.

Best of luck.

Thank you for reply and info... feeling little relieved... as I'm the primary applicant.

I gain points for my latest 3 years IT job and I read in a forum that, it is better to remove spouse work history from EE profile, is it good to answer spouse work history as "NO" and keep it blank later at personal history mention his exp (or) fill in his 5 years of call center exp along which he has proofs for in EE profile

Please clarify this

You may do this because if you mention it now, you will be claiming points for this. So leave it blank and then mention it in the personal history.
