My friend she applied in March 2010 and now she got her visa and she is planning to move soon

pls do you know when she did medical test and when she got her visa ?

my friend we know people with different times some by end of 2010 some of first quarter of 2011 and no one received anything since 2 month. last action was only sending new file number for 2010 q4 applicant. sakeer for example he is q4 2009 applicant and he did not recieved his visa yet. one applicant sent his medical in march 2013 and not yet visa. 384 main applicant for quebec is not small number all visa's offices are working in the middle east except amman . even beirut thery transferred all files to bucharest so we can not compare our office slow with any other thing . i hope they are preparing to tranfer our files to bucharest

She applied in March 2010, she got her medical in Feb 2013 and she got her visa this month.
I applied in Nov. 2010 and still don't have anything only the UCI and EP (July 2013)
If I got my medical I will let you know

hello guys,

just wanted to share you that i got an email stating that i am on the waiting list for interview, in addition to a PDF file that i have to sign and send back, that i know well that obtaining CSQ does not guarantee that i find a job in my regulated field ( Engineering ).

i got file number in November 26th 2012.

hope this help you guys ..

and i would to ask you if you know the expected time before they contact me back to decided place and time of interview, and if i should bring my one year old daughter with me.

i hope this will make amman officerS work or they sure will transfer our files to somewhere else by 2014 there will be no backlog new spirit guys we need some good news


26 September 2013 - Canada's Foreign Service Officers Reach Tentative Agreement with Federal Government
The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers is pleased to announce that a tentative agreement has been reached with the Treasury Board of Canada to end our six-month labour dispute.

“PAFSO is satisfied with this deal,” said PAFSO President Tim Edwards.“This agreement was reached through compromises on both sides,” continued Edwards. “We salute the spirit of constructive engagement which our employer brought to our latest discussions. This deal is a victory for free and fair bargaining in the federal public service.”

With the signing of this tentative agreement PAFSO has ordered an immediate suspension of all strike measures and work to rule. The agreement requires ratification by the PAFSO membership and approval by the full Treasury Board. PAFSO's Executive Committee and Treasury Board president Tony Clement have agreed to recommend acceptance of the offer.

“We are pleased that the Government has recognized the tremendous value and dedication which Foreign Service Officers provide to Canadians and their elected representatives,” said Edwards. “It has been a hard-fought battle and I would like to salute the unity, resolve, and stamina of our members in securing a fair and equitable deal. We're excited to get back to doing the work we love, promoting and protecting Canada's values and interests abroad.”

The 1,350 Foreign Service Officers have been without a contract since July 1, 2011 and in a legal strike position since April 2, 2013. This agreement concludes the longest federal public service strike since the introduction of collective bargaining in 1967.

hi dear I tried to go to Sweden but I failed ,any way I think 2014 will be like 2013.i am now looking 4 a new way to go europ
