After COPR - how long do you get to activate PR?

Hi all,
Quick question - I am living in Ireland. If I get a confirmation of PR - how long do i have to travel to Canada and activate it? I would need to book flights, etc.

I thought I read somewhere that you have until your current passport expires but that is 7 years for me!

The expiry date is mentioned on the immigrant visa stamped in your passport.

You need to land before your medical expires, so typically one year
