After applying to CPC Mississauga, how long do they take to respond that they have received it? The site shows they are working on applications received on January 3, 2012.
However, as I understand they will send a client id number way before that! if anyone applied recently how long before they received this number? How did you receive it by letter, email or both?

I applied Nov/24/2011 and I think they emailed me they recieved it sometime mid-late december...The uci + file number came with my sponsor approval on Jan/25/2012. I recieve both by email only.

I heard from them after 44 days... Check out groups spreadsheet as we all just applied in January.

Since the person after me received their AOR it's been quiet for our group....to be realistic I'd give yourself the expectation of the 55 days. Sme people don't ever get the AOR from Mississauga.

I know waiti sucks but it's part of the process so just hang in their and your turn will be here before you know it!

I can't say it enough...let your application submission be the brightest light at the end of the tunnel.

CPC-M never notified me. It was only after I called that they told me the file number

I am trying to check with the receipt number but the problem. I am not sure if the application will have my name, date of birth, or my wife's name and date of birth. I was not even sure so after paying online I filled the receipt with both my info and her info. They can pick what they like.
It seems some receive and some do not receive a notification, on what basis they send notifications or not!

It is even more than 55 days when calculated it I found they say 55 business days...you would have to subtract weekends and holidays.

Well it depends on which month you at looking for. December 2011 thread has one so does nov and oct etc... And so does each specific visa office, buffalo, Manila etc.... Find the thread and then look for the person with the spreadsheet I their signature line just like me. It takes a little searching but you'll learn a lot along the way.
